hey, i just found a recently released game called Greyhawk: House of Elemental Evil?
It looks like Baldur's Gate but fell straight out of 3rd Edition Rules Book.. Is it any good as an RPG??? Or is it another Icewind Dale?

I asume you mean Temple of Elemental evil, well it is pretty good, if you don't mind a bucketload of bugs and having to download 2 patches that don't cover them all... Else it is okey, has great turnbased combat system and very nice character creation.
If it wasn't for the bugs I'd give it 8 |

Any more info on this game? Is it similar to the Baldur's gate series (complexity of maps, quests, character development)? I remember having the Greyhawk campaign books for P&P and it provided a very detailed and intriguing gaming world. I'd like to hear more about the CRPG version.

There used to be a forum that Ziroc made to support that game. Not anymore. Just like Dungeon Siege, it was a big let-down to the community of gamers, generally speaking.
BTW...go to Misc. games, type in ToEE in the search feature, and you will find alot of discussion that has already been made about this game...which can enlighten you about its defects and its good sides as well. [ 07-29-2004, 11:08 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ]

Icewind dale is much better than temple of elemental evil....
IWD2 even more so. If you have missed any of the IE games get them before that one. |
