Speeding up romance doesn't work.

I write this in the console

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("JAHEIRAROMANCE","GLOBAL","1")

but nothing happens. I remember it worked on a previous install, so I don't understand why it won't work this time. Anyone know how to speed up romance with console? When I write CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("JaheiraMatch","GLOBAL") it says the global is set to 1.

So far I've tried using it outside near nature, after resting outside near nature, in town (like druid grove area for example), after resting outside in town, in a tavern, after resting inside a tavern etc. Doesn't work.

So far I killed bandits that captured her, and killed her old teacher Dermin or something. I am in chapter 6 and done everything except going to graveyard or ToB tower.

Now I'm not an expert at this since I never CLUAed romances, but I think the proper CLUA to speed up romances is something to speed real time and not to set global. You might want to do a search on IW for this one.

Thanks, I tried CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(7200) over and over everywhere, but it doesn't work either.

Yes she was turned into stone once in underdark, but the romance kept going after that. Last line I remember is that she laughed at some joke.

Have you tried resting?I haven't gotten very far in the Jaheria romance, too many bugs, but try resting inside, outside, everywhere really, other than that, thiers not much I can say.

CharacterActiveRomance

This is major romance variable. It shows the current romance state and you should always check it if things seem to be going wrong. It can be accessed with the following commands (i.e. for Aerie):
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("AerieRomanceActive","GLOBAL") – to find out what value it has.
CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("AerieRomanceActive","GLOBAL",XX) – to manually set the value.

Change the variable name to Jaheira, Viconia or Anomen for their values.

Possible values of this variable (XX) are:
0 – romance was never started,
1 – romance is progressing,
2 – romance lives, NPC is finally in love with you,
3 – romance is dead for good.

So what you can do is:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomanceActive","GLOBAL",0)
to reset the romance from the beginning
and then
CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(7200)
to start speeding up the dialogues.

I dont know how will it affect special Harper quests though. So make a save before trying

i believe control + i also advances all dialogues, which i guess includes romance dialogues.

It didn't work. I think the romance was dead.

I tried it again in my new game. I waited to recruit Jaheira until chapter 6 because I didn't need her. Then she joined and I kept doing

CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(7200).

I noticed after 8 times, she will start talking. If not, you need to go to forest or town or sleep. So I completed it now for the first time with the help of CLUAConsole. I had all forest talks in one bulk and all town talks in one bulk.
