It would help if you post the title in English - not eveerybody knows that 'glad midsommer' means 'happy solstice'

Happy Litha/Solstice/Midsummer everyone!
Hope you have a good one, whether you celebrate it or not.

I'm off to a mod alldayer in central london today, a far cry from the usual midsummer stuff, but alas my scooter has conked out, I've had to cadge a lift off a mate and I hate riding pillion - I prefer to be in control LOL. Ah well, it means I can have a couple of pints and get the bus back if I'm too pished to balance on the way home

It's a really weird holiday, isn't it? Dancing around the big phallic symbols (those poles) and stuff...

Happy Solstice. We don't celebrate it in Texas, dread it rather. It means August is coming.

am still celebrating it. up here we have the North Country Fair which is entirely dedicated to the summer solstice. We call it hippy days and its a huge folk fest. am actually only home right now to get clean and/or dry clothes since it's raining like mad

btw...I thought the solstice was on the 21st, not the 20th. or am I on crack???

WHY GOD WHY!!!!! oh yeh.....its becuase of that time with the monkey and pool isn't it.....i told you i'm sorry already..i didn't mean it to end like that....so many nuns running like that...kinda funny really.....ermm where was i? ahh yes, longest day, woo.
