You didn't miss anything, I didn't really announce the change on IW.
Now that I'm at it though...I graduated at the end of June.

Re: So, most of you are probably using Firefox by now...
Maxthon is an IE based freeware browser, been around for about 5 years now. I had to test it once as one of our users wanted to use it for accessing our web-based apps. Actually works well with IE based web apps, but not had to look at any later incarnations as the user left. Quite slow on navigation times compared to the rest and is missing a couple of features but, unless you are into browser customisation or open source development, you probably won't miss them.
Nowadays I only have the usual set of IE 6 and 7, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari. I tend to rate them in the order Firefox, Chrome/Opera and then IE 7.

i use them only because of one thing, how they operate and open new tab links . No complaints from me

I still use IE. I've never really seen the need for switching web-browsers ever in my life. If firefox was default on windows machines, I would use that.
