Which of these following classes would be the best to choose for a new PC?
-Fighter -Thief -Wizard -Cleric -Ranger -Wizard Specialist Classes If I didn't mention any, which I probably did just add them in there if you want  After I finish my current game I will start a new one, and I am hoping to get the best party and class available. Lots of times I have tried to create something good but I am very bad at it

Whichever class you think you'll have the most fun playing is the best one.
I prefer specialist mages, personally. You should just decide what seems good and go with it. There is no 'best class' to play. All of them are good enough to complete the game. Tell us what you decide to pick.

thief/Mage or cleric/mage

I like my triple class fighter/wizard/cleric character cause I love level-ups and this way I get them more! I also like to have loads of spells (so the next best choice would be mage/cleric)!
