I'm not trying to horn in on Willard's territory, but I've got a riddle too.
The poor have me The rich need me I am more powerful than God If you eat me, you die What am I? I'm not sure if line 3 is 100% correct, by which I mean the original riddle may have been worded slightly differently. This version still works, assuming the Judeo-Christian idea of God (or Islamic idea of God for that matter).

haha, sorry tis an old one, its nothing,
the way i heard it was, scorned by the meek and humble-minded, often by the vain possessed. heard by the deaf, seen by the blind. I give the troubled spirit rest |

Wow, that was fast. I guess it was an old one
I like your version felix, but the deaf and blind lines kind of give it away.

Hello! Here's another riddle!
. . . What's the only vegetable or fruit that is never sold frozen, canned, processed, cooked, or in any other form but fresh? [ 09-09-2002, 08:10 PM: Message edited by: Willard ]
