I play Both!

Druids more often than Rangers. I enjoy the challenge of roleplaying true nuetrals. My main ranger character is Chaotic Good.

I play rangers, but not exclusively. I'm also partial to bards, and the occasional straight fighter.

I've tried em before!!
I like to to try to give everyone a go!
EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

But why do you play Rangers??????????????

Is it the (sarcastic voice jokingly) nature connection.

Heh heh heh...for that matter why does anyone play whatever they play???
I always like to read on the BG2 board: the favorite character threads cause seeing that one pic that that one dude always picks or loves ta pick is always kewl ta hear. Me??? not rangers maybe...but fighters fer sure...an the supa-powerful mages too!

hAH!
Well i consider the animals as much a part of nature as a plant ur whuteva but ya! Mebbe not according ta tha rulz but fer me personal bla! muahahhahhahahhhahahha

But ya fer druid an Ranger the difference is spells! Kinda like the diff between fighter n' cleric! Both can rip it up...but the fighter will smash heads in close while the cleric will turn the zombie before it gets close etc. etc.

Hmmm let me see a thief, with a high a thaco as a ranger, sneak behind someone in the forest, then whistle for his falcon to swoop down and pluck his eye out, all the while simultaneously shoots 3 arrows in his back at point blank range. and then closes with a long sword in each hand. backed up by a grizzly bear, a mountain lion, and a family of possums. Beat that theify.
