Evening all,

I have a problem with some of the portraits included in the EfU portrait pack - they simply show up as whitespace like this. As you can see, it's not all of them, but I don't understand why so many appear like this.

The .rar file checks out fine when I test its integrity and (with a couple of exceptions) I can view all the portraits just fine using a normal picture viewer. Only the game seems to have problems with them.

Can anyone suggest a remedy for this?

Thanks in advance

Weird. have you re-unrared them and overwrote them to see if that fixes it? I'll check them tonight and see if something is up..

Weird.

Yes, I've tried that unfortunately Z.

Please don't waste any of your time exploring this - I'm sure if the problem was at your end then there would be others with the same issue.

I was just hoping that some of you NwN vets might have experienced this with some other pictures in the past and knew of an easy fix. Not to worry!

For some reason, I can't even get them to download. They start going, and eventually the download just seems to die or something.

Maybe your parental controls are on?
Seriously though, I have one or two that come out white, and one that's upside down. Overall though, no real problems with it. I don't get the download problem either, as I had no trouble.

Hm, I just went and tried the seperated packs, the 10mb ones and they seemed to work. Weird.

That only happened with a few of the pictures I found. Oddly enough, things started to work better after I deleted around 100 files or so. Mainly portraits that I knew I would never want to use for a character, or were doubles (triples, et cetera) of files which were already in the package. Still takes forever to scan through them all when creating a new character to play, but it is worth it to me.
