I tend to play 2nd edition, but of course I still play PnP! There's nothing quite like gathering round, playing as your character, and getting impaled by a puny little kobold!

i played 2nd edition for a while, i find it complex compared to the new rules. The new rules really make things alot more fun i remember having diffuculty with ac and stuff.

PnP wise, I've only ever used 2nd Edition.

I haven't played in a couple of years, but I did buy the 3rd Edition Player's Handbook to help with some questions I had about NWN. It looks very good, but it is quite different. I think I'm going to buy the DM Guide and try to get the guys together to try it out.

I just started playing 3E causethat's what my DM uses. It's okay, still basically the same stuff. A bit more Monty-Haul-ish at base, but he tones it down well enough. I prefer a heavily modified 2E game I DM'ed for years, but I'll take what I can get.

I've been playing 3rd ed for a little bit. Unfortunately, there is NOBODY in my area who likes to play D&D. Everyone is stuck in Magic or Star Wars roleplaying. Not that I dislike those two, but D&D's the classic "started-it-all!" The skills and feats area of 3rd ed took me awhile to get used to, and I'll NEVER get used to the backwards AC rule, since I've been playing since, like, 1982. Overall, not bad, but still...
