I was in english class today and doing some definitions for my teacher, I happened to be at the back of the book and I saw some names and their meanings.
The first name that caught my eye was Balthazar. The meaning of the word Balthazar means "B(h)aal's prince." I found that very interesting because of his role in the game. Any comments? |

Balthazar was one of the three Magi, and I've always assumed that was where the name came from.
The other Balthazar that I am aware of is a kind of bottle, specificly for champagne that contains about 13 US quarts. This doenst really fit, but its a fun fact. [ 02-18-2003, 08:20 PM: Message edited by: Seraph ] |

Baal was, pagan god of fertility in ancient Kanaan, that is, before Jews arrived there.

Don't know what Balthazar does. Is he a monk? If so, all he is is annoying... never finished because of Abigazal...
