Having nailed Kreug I have searched his area and can not find the Scroll of Trickery anywhere

Any clues

The scroll of trickery is in the room above the library where you meet Kreug's familiar. One of your characters has to have the bard's quest, and only one scroll is dropped so if you have more than one wannabe bard, you have to take the scroll back to town and return to bash up Kreug's familiar again (and again)

Each time I play, the scroll always reappears - you have to make sure one of your characters has the quest active.

A hint is to only train one character at a time. That is only have one guy/girl train as a bard. Get the scroll, return and get promoted. Then if you want more than one bard, start his/her training, return to the Serpent Temple and claim the scroll. Repeat until you think you have enough bards.

I disagree with WillowIX.
It's possible to take several bard guest at one time.

I train two character to bard doing next thing:

First I get bard training mission to both.
Then I go into serpent temple and searched scroll.
Casted create portal outside the temple ( inside didn't work! )
Casted Call to Home.
Finished mission by giving scroll to thieves guildmaster.
Go outside the town, casted Teleport.
Entered into temple again and retrieved the scroll.
Out from temple, Call to Home and into thieves guild.

The scroll appears next time when one of your character had gived it to thieves guildmaster.

If you didn't finished bard training, scroll won't appear until you finish it by first character.

Well like WillowIX said, it's better to get mission to one person, finish it and then get it to another person... But my point is that you can train two or more at the same time!

Don't know does Assassin's dagger effect work in this case too.. Might try that.
P.s. Read only if you want spoil your self!

When you get Assassin's dagger, you can keep it by passing it to another person after thieves guildmaster ask do you want to become assassin?
Now you can keep dagger but become assassin! And can train several assassin!

Well Olli since you MUST return to Ishad N´ha and return the scroll it does not matter if you train 2 characters at once or train them one by one. Since All high monkey apparently have problems with training 2 at the same time he can just as well promote them one by one. Either way works fine but if you have trouble with one way, why not try the other?

Edit to get the correct name.

I just wanted to say it's possible to do that... I know it doesn't make sence, cause you must return into town... but still!

I think couple of minute of my previous post... Edit to get the correct name.
I thought that I typed your name wrong or something
Then I noticed you had edited your message

All High Monkey0, hope you get that scroll again! And I didn't confuse you too much...

Edited to congratulate WillowIX for promotion to Fzoul Chembryl!
Well Done!
Hope I get promotion too... some day...

actually i was saying that awhile after my first bard did the quest i tried to train another person into a bard and when i got there, there was no scroll anywhere. Like 1 at a time, not 2 at once, but doesn't matter anyway i guess.

Hmmm... That's kinky one!

Have you tried to cancell your training and get that guest again?
If that don't work, I'm wordless....
