I sold the bread recipe. I found it in the bakers, before I even knew there were NPC quests (I went out alone). Is it gone for good?

you could buy it back (check all the merchants), or look in the divining pool (i dont think it will be there but you could try)

Go to the Hall of Justice and look in the Divining Pool. You should see it there, since it's a plot item.

IIRC the diving pool only has plot items you drop, not items that are sold.

I'm surprised you could sell it. Most henchman items are priced at 0 gp, which means they are unsellable.

True, you can not sell henchen quest items, must have been dropped somewhere.

Do you have any bags of holding? If you do, check in them. If you do noy, invest in one. I store all of my henchman iyrms in on bag, so I do not inadvertantly drop or lose them...
