Yeah, I would offer the same - boot up the hard drive in another PC as a slave and leech all the important info you need off it, then re-install. I've had to do it a couple of times, and it really hit me how useful two PC's can be! (Not both are mine, FYI. [img]tongue.gif[/img] ). Of course, checking for viruses before accessing the drive may be an idea...

I found that not having the financials to have two good computersa mobile rack does the trick, and it even makes for a very good portable storage device.

Hehehe.. I didnt say I had 2 "good" computers.. I got my main which is pretty good, and I got the other one which I can play pong on..

I still have the familys old C64 (I had so much fun with it at the time) though I doubt that it would work with that one.
