hmm lol seph if you retake the test it won't be accurate. They say to wait 2 months before retaking it.

I've noticed that a lot of people score really high on this test before, which seemed kind of odd. Then I got to thinking about it, and the team that designed this test did so for everybody, not just people like us who are into things like computers etc I honestly think if we had just random people take the test we'd see more scores down in the 100-130 range. I know several people who tested around 135, and according to the site 120 means you should be able to pass college undergrad courses.... well yeah all my friends that took it were in college, and doing well.

Thank you for recently taking the Self Discovery Workshop's IQ Test.
Because of the Internet's ability to mishandle transmissions, we are
reconfirming via email that your IQ Test score was: 157
It is odd that so many of us are scoring in the "Genius" range. Even though I'm pleased with my result, I can't help but feel that the test is upwardly biased somehow.

Still, we may all be the "New Intellect". I don't think it's strictly due to being Internet hobbyists, though. Any gander on the USENET and at some of the illiterate, ignorant articles posted there will disprove that in a heartbeat!

Oh, I agree with you there Saz LOL. I do think that many who have taken the test from here are passionate readers, which is one of the best ways to improve one's intelligence. Many of us are also pursuing degrees higher than a Bachelor's among the older crowd. I think on the whole the IW community is a very, very intelligent one compared to the average. There are still many millions of Americans who barely know what a computer is, much less how to use one with skill. So I was pointing out that our sample of the populace here at IW is definitely geared for the higher range on this test, not like a true random sample of the general populace.
As for myself, I got a 161, within 3 points of the last professional exem I was given, actually.

LOL!
I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous one - I got 158.
I would have got more, but what is a nickel and a quarter? I don't know how many cents is in each. Someone tell me & I'll retake.

A nickel is 5 cents I believe and a quarter is a quarter of a dollar, 25 cents.

A nickle has 5 cents, and a quarter 25.

I know this because I scored 163 and am a genius...lol.
