Anyone know what a Go-go is? Small plastic figures with faces carved in them which you then threw at each other. God they sucked. I never cared for pogs, marbles are where it was at home-dog I hope they bury all the pogs in the Sahara desert along with the 5 million unsold copies of "E.T" for the Commodore 64.

Go-Go's and Jo-Jo's were still cooler than pogs, though.

Sigmar, burying them doesn't make them go away. That just hides them for future generations to find later. Then the vicious cycle just starts again.
The answer would be to burn them ALL. We'll gather for a midnight bonfire. EYAAY

Personally I prefer the immortal Monster-in-my-Pocket line.

Whatever you say Exxon!

Firestormalpha, if we were to burn all the pogs in the world we'd remove the entire ozone layer surrounding the Earth...hmm, perhaps that was the evil plan all along! Pogs will be the death of us all! Our creations will lead to our demise...I better not say that out loud or else a certain pair of brothers with names that rhyme with Wachowoski might create a shallow eye popping experience and dub it the successor to "The Matrix".

...sorry

Basically POGS are (or should I say "were") small circular shaped discs, made of cardboard, which were a craze which existed in the school yard around 5 years ago. The game went something like this: 2 or more people scatter several of their pogs with all the faces turned down. Each player takes a turn "slamming" the pogs with a "slammer" (like a pog, but made of metal or harder cardboard and larger) to overturn the POGS. The POGS which you overturn, you keep. The game can either be played using the "friendly" or "keeps" rule.

May we never speak of this topic again
