Verkerk wins the first set 7-6 with Coria already dangling on the verge of being eliminated after hitting, accidentaly, one of those kids around the field.

And Clijsters-Sugiyama in final doubles.

Amusing... Was zapping a bit, and CNN had more attention for Serena Williams accusing Henin of "lying and fabricating" than for the match itself. Talking about being a bad loser...

Well, Serena should be able to handle it. Wasn't she the one that said 'she played in a bubble'. It's not nice to loose and have the public against you but these things happen in sports.

Update, Verkerk takes second set 6-4. One set away from the finals.

Yup, good news. Let's hope he'll be able to finish the match quicker than he did when he played against Moya; I'm not sure how good Verkerk will fare in 27 degrees Celsius on the center court if the match is going to take a few hours more.

Verkerk just duped the ref in giving him a point he didn't deserve. Nicely done on his part but sad for Coria.

Didn't see it myself, haven't been watching all the time... But was it an obvious display of unfairness on Verkerk's account, or more a true belief in thinking he was correct and had the referee agreeing with him, but was proven wrong by the cameras?

Anyway he won with 7-6 in the final set

Now Dutchville has a man in the finals since Krajicek.

YAY! Go Verkerk! A really good show, Coria did well too! Now he should beat the hell out of Ferrero, and then we'll ditch Willem-Alexander as rightful future king All hail King Martin!!
