Bar with no beer for youngsters?

Excerpt:
A "BAR" serving youngsters everything but alcohol could be opened in Worthing to "give kids something to do".

David Moore hopes the venue will be a popular meeting place and will reduce the problems associated with youngsters hanging around on the streets because they have nothing better to do.

Last time I checked, this was called a pool hall or a bowling alley.

Depends what else it serves.

Worthing is a boring shit-hole filled with mostly small minded people and the beaches are covered with dog turds, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

The one redeeming feature of the place used to be the *ahem* 'Dutch' style coffee shop which got shut down when the owner was prosecuted, stupidly such enterprises are illegal here. Maybe this is a front for a similar venture

Yeah what's wrong with pool halls? I have to agree that "bar with no beer" sounds like an unappealing concept.

So, do you all think that 13-17 year olds should be drinking beer?

In my comunity it's called a youth services hang out. Pool, music, etc. Only a few adults to hold the legal peace, dances on Friday nights etc.. My daughter has had great fun there..
