Jaheira/Aerie romance

Heya......

I am on my third time around on BG2, and have only just experienced the Jaheira / Aerie romances for the first time. Previous games I have played a Dwarf or Human ( I think ).

This time round I am an Elf, so are the romances race specific? Or should they also work if I am Human or Dwarven eg.

The romances should work perfectly clear if you're an elf.
There are some racess that cant have romances, eg the half-orc.

They work if you're Human, Elven or Half-Elven, I believe.

Viconia won't go out with an Elf. Halflings are ok for Jaheira and Aerie as well.

OK so how about this one then,

I'm an Elven Archer, and having a thing going on with Jah.

I've decided that I would quite like to dual to a cleric, so I'd have to use Shadow Keeper to change to a Human.

Will the Jaheira Romance keep working?

Sure, if you don't change sex.. I'm in a multiplayer, and we always change the lead Paladin for a fighter at Nalia's Keep, just to get the fighter stronghold, as the Paladin one sucks, and li'l ol' Viconia just keeps on loving.
