My wife and I are playing through Baldur's Gate (No ToSC.) We were both in Chapter 7 and She was usually a few subquests behind. Last week I got some spare time and finished the game. The when she went to finish, She entered the Ducal Palace but there was no Sarevok, no Dukes, no corination ceremony. She's got the diary and the invitations. We figure she missed some subplot because there's no mention of the corination in her diary. But for the life of us we can't figure out what it is. Any Ideas?

Can she get in to the Palace? If she can get in, is there anyone inside, including upstairs and in the basement? Not even guards?
Slight Spoil.... If she can't get in she can try the switch on the roof tiles (lights up blue with the cursor over it) to get in and see if there inside. If there's still no joy then try deleting the area from your override folder, which will refresh it for the next time you enter and may re-set the quest log (can't remember the area code, but look on the site - it'll be here somewhere). And ... if all else fails ... there's the last savegame file ... |
