Assimar.... lv1 .... monk... with these stats...
St 18 Dex 18 Con 16 Int 3 Wis 5 Chr 20
Lv 2 onwards... paladin.....a lightly armoured, super save battle machine with evasion.

Now, paladins are pants... compared to fighters.... because in pnp edition of d&d, there lack of feets is made up with a super horse....
so, use dalekeeper and at 6th lvl give your paladin of helm... two extra points in two handed sword (if that's what you have for holy avenger)


Secondly.... alternative rogue

St 13 Dex 20 Con 14 Int 20 wis 10 chr 1
first level - rogue...... look at all those skill points
after that...
either ranger.....bit naff....and if you do up your wisdom and lower dex....
or have a fighter... with all those extra feets...and able to increase open lock, search and disable device.....

personally, my tiefling ended up a 14th level fighter, 3rd level rogue....those extra rogue levels allow you to take up your move and hide skills quiete nicely,
and as for those sweet ... good enough for any feat.... i had mine as the kick ass archer with the arc of gold bow.
