Granted that the Xbox 360 and PS3 have already launched, the PS3 and Wii are not really out in the world yet.

Anyways, which are you planning on getting and why?

And is there anyone else here as excited as me about the Wii? Looks like it may be the one thing to take me away from WoW for a while

I have already pre-ordered my Wii a few games, but plan on maybe getting a PS3 one day down the track.

Hive, I'm not getting one for this year because I want to make sure the bugs are worked out -- and you just know that they'll be bugs.

However, the Wii is impressing me more and more. The graphics for the new Zelda game look great. I myself am a PC player but my son loves his Game Cube, so I'll probably break down next year and get him a Wii.

I don't believe in consoles. If PCs are obsolete the moment you buy them, consols are obsolete the moment they are released.
But dang, that Wii looks like fun!

I got a 360, mainly for Mass Effect. Every rpg gamer that plan to skip this game is an heretic.

Yep, I already have a 360 to and am looking forward to Masseffect, though it seems there will be a PC version now which is the better option for me

Where did you hear about a PC version? I thought they sid this one was an exclusive?

Anyway, if it end up like Kotor I'll be satisfied with the 360 version. It seem pc games these days can barely be made to work without crashing every 5 minutes etc, so the 360 version is going to be a lot easier to enjoy.
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound as if it was confirmed, but I hear it has been mentioned but not officially confirmed.

And seriously, how can anyone watch the E3 preview (preferably in HD) and not want to play the game?

I know what you mean, they would seriously have to be crazy.

I really hope the story is awesome, because if it looks like that and has a good story, its gonna be unbelievable.
