Do you have Dalekeeper 2?

If so,try to give yourself the Armageddon sword of the tester. I have a character I solo now and then to blow off some steam. That has it. Nothing I`ve come across so far can stand against one or two good hits from it.

FYI the same thing happend to me and then the patch came and made it all better.If you dont have it,get it.(thank Illmater for patchs)

Lord C, the problem with this bug is that damage isn't registered at all, whatever weapon (or spell) you use. The game ignores it completely. Even the "A" blade won't help when the game doesn't see the damage on a hit.

I am in the Temple alos in HOf mode. I had no trouble killing Caitlin but I do have the Patch installed.

BTW are you killing those Postualates and Frostbrands easily. These guys are easier to kill than the goblins in chapter one. lol.

Does the patch uninstall nicely?

Usually, once a patch is in, it's in and there's no way of removing it aside from uninstalling the entire game.

If you don't want the patch, about all you can do is go back to a previous save, play on from there, and hope she's not invulnerable the second time around. Scroll back through the auto-saves, you may have one near this encounter.

Dear Gamer,

We have not encountered this issue to date.

It sounds like you have interrupted her dialog on death or initiating dialog
script. You can try to load a saved game from before meeting her and try to
damage to her slower this time and to make sure she talks to you before he
attacks her at the beginning.

As a programmer, I find silly little bugs like that just careless.

Here's another little doozy. The patch takes OUT the Goblin Slaying Dagger in HoF... WTF? Its not on their list for a reason methinks... no one would install the patch if they knew that! [img]smile.gif[/img] Oh well... I can get by on just summons. If I can just get enough cash for the Heart of Sword. [img]smile.gif[/img] I do wonder how many other things they changed that they didnt tell anyone about?

I find the Keg Splitter Axe (slays constructs) extremely useful too. If goblins slyaer is gone in HOF, this is probably too. More reasons why I don't want the patch.

Actualy the Keg Splitter is still there. Rest easy! Im just miffed about the Dagger because I thought I wouldnt be able to afford it... but then I got enough money and it wasnt there...
