Snakeskin trick

Has anyone ever tried the snakeskin trick, from the 'best tips' thread ? If so, did it work on the whole party ? I've tried it every way I can think of, but only one person gets snakeskin. Is there some wrinkle I'm missing ?

I never tried it personally so I don't know if/how it works.

Did you try having each character the lead character as you passed the Naga by??

If that doesn't work - write to whomever wrote the post and ask them! (or is their email not listed??)

I just gave it a try, just to see if it works. Thats not it either. Thats ok, I'm already over it, and about 45 min further in the game.

I Love the new bouncy, it looks grreat.

I've been making up new bouncies for my son. I did several variations on my mummy and later did a zombie (see below). Fun!

The snakeskin trait is only given to the person who is talking to Elyssa and drinks the potion. I play with the patch so only one character gets this trait - if I want another character to have the trait, I reset adventures. If you are not playing with the patch, then you might try clicking on the other characters while you in the conversation with Elyssa.

I'm playing w/o the patch. Clicking on other players, before she asks has no effect. Cycling thru after, just makes Elyssia madd. (it defaults to 'Ignore')

I could only get one of my characters to gain the Snakeskin trait whenever I tried it, even though they all had spider nectar.

Heh, I love the choices you get when Elyssia asks you if you are prepared to drink the serpant nectar. "Yes/No, Bitch!" Heh heh!

Wish I knew what the Servant's Menu was for--never could figure that out.
