I would say I am on two minds about gambling in general.
On one side, it is really a kind of drug, so addicted people should be given help, as it can destroy their life. I have played only once on a poker machine, just for a try - I am not sure I would not become addicted if I didn't stay away of these. On the other side - well, my chaotic side, maybe - I don't see why adult people should be restricted to do whatever they want with their own life. But it is a more general and complex debate. Anyway, about casinos and poker machines, I think one should always remember that the only sure winner is always the owner(s) ... ------------------ |
