all it does is allows your player to see the fire elemental in the tomb.i think it protects against critical hits too,so give it to your mage or thief, they can wear it.

I Think its called a mask or something. But they do protect against crit hit. The only disadvantage is that a mage with a helmet is very ugly.

Ugly but safe, or would you prefer handsome and dead?

The fire elemental really pi**ed me off because
I had not bothered to get the mask. It kept
hitting me and I'm thinking what the hell is that?
Anyways The mask(as far as I can remember)does nothing
although I could be wrong. All it says is some
information about an ancient King.

I once thought it would be a good idea for my solo Sorcerer to fire off some Energy Blades at an Adamantium Golem. While the blades did injure it, it was not doing much damage. The Golem then approach my Sorcerer and I thought that the staircase would be sufficient to block the Golem. I was wrong, and because of my misjudgement, the Golem managed to score a critical hit on my Sorcerer.

80+ damage, would have been 160+, but he was wearing an Ioun Stone, so that cancelled out the double damage. Insane difficulty by the way.

That said, there is never too much safety to be had.

It just allows to see the last "guardian" AKA fire elemental in the dungeon in the mask part of the dungeon.

It doesn't do anything else.

It does actually. Mask of King Strohm III can be worn by any class, and will protect against critical hits. Very handy.
