Wanna buy a real lightsaber? Then go here. Be warned, though: they're pretty expensive!

Looks pretty cool, although I doubt only hardcore fans would want to make the purchase

I'm anything but a Star Wars fan. In fact I've never watched a single Star Wars movie (though I did watch 10- to 15-minute chunks of them, which failed to impress me). But all the same I still find those lightsabers pretty good-looking -- so much so I might consider getting a couple. I just like things that give off light.

I'd rather have a doubel edged BLUE LASER double light BRAND like in PSO Do you have any idea as to how strong a blue laser is? In RL they can cut through reinforced titanium like a hot knife through butter... in pso it's the best doublelightsaber-type weapon in the game aside from the DualDurandal which is powered by God. You can't beat that...

and upon closer inspection those sabers dont even PRODUCE lasers they're just toy props that lite up like neon lamps! WHO'D PAY 300 bucks for a neon lamp and a stylish base! that's just silly! besides, captain kirk could whoop han solo's behind any day of the week!

Why wont PSO come to Xbox so I can get this DualDurandal! Then me and sephy can have the classic indestrustible metal vs a light sabre fight!

If I'm not mistaken, you actually can practise fencing or kendo with those sabers. (Not that I do.) Their 'blades' are supposed to be of very durable material. Okay, maybe you can't cut with them, but what the heck, why would you want to?

A blue laser carries more energy per photon, tis true, but since the amount of photons is variable clour has _no_ effect on total beam energy.

You didnt expect them to have a _real_ laser beam did you? Given that a laser beam is invisible in clear air and dosent have a convienient end and all that stuff. Besides, if it has a Light Blade instead of a polycarbonate you woudnt be able to fight with it, which would suck.

Now, where can i lay hands on $300 at short notice...
