There's at least 2 good scimitars in the game. Just if you ever run across a dwarven smith... well, save before talking to him

As for hammers, I'd say they suck Not a big fan of them. Tons of good flails and morningstars/maces though.

Oh, and stick with pure druid and a fighter/cleric. You won't regret it. You'll get shambling mounds (stalker spell, 7th level druid) that much quicker... and it with the bard are an awesome combo. With a druid and a bard in the party, a cleric becomes much, much, much less important, so you won't miss levels there much.

Yes indeed; keep the Fighter/cleric so you can memorize the 2nd level "call upon holy might" to really kick some butt.
Keeping the Human Druid single classed is good too; you can always dual class him into a fighter later if you need to. (though personally, i'd start as a fighter and then become a druid.. but that's just me )
Oh, and the fighter cleric's best weapon is a MACE, not a Hammer. Hammers are weaker and there are less of them in the game. Sure, you get a holy hammer or two; but that doesn't beat the Shocking Flail or the Hammer Flail. Trust me on the Mace thing.

Hehe, yah, but flails are flails, not maces Maces are maces and morningstars. Both categories have some sweet weapons though. However, as a fighter/cleric, you'll start with 4 weapon proficiences (gee, that's 2 in sling, 2 in a weapon) and by level 6, fighter, you'll have 2 more in the other... so mastering both flails and maces is pretty easy.

Looks pretty good...although I usually try and go with a single class priest. You really need the healing spells. (Last time through I had a single class priest AND a single class druid...)
