I'm being tempted to go over to the dark side.
Hi Thoran,

that's what happened to Jo. We were walking thru Fry's, and she stopped walking by me. I was looking for some stuff for the home network we were setting up, since we were about to place our order for some sweet Pentium IV systems. I walked back to her, and she was pointing to the new Apple 22" Studio Display.
"What is that???"
I smiled. "That's Macintosh."
When she found out that she could play BG2 & Diablo 2, and all the new games coming out, all she could say was "I want it."
We are now the new, proud owners of Dual G4's with those gorgeous 22" Studio Displays.
She says she's gonna post pictures at the the Bunnies of DOOM site soon.

He cutts his own HAIR! lol... I could go on and on... the fact is this is a guy with way too much free time on his hands

OH and another thing: Apple Computer -the company- came up with their idea from a man who was too high on drugs to actually make since of what he was naming his company at the time so how can you say that any of these "coincidences" are even theoretically ENTENTIONAL? O_o LOL... Ok fine mister Anti-Darwin, i'd like to see you live in a world like 1984 without any macs... yeah worship non individuality and perfectionism, that's as bad as paying tribute to the DEVIL HIMSELF i say
Microsoft is the SMOOTHE and easy path to HELL ! Mac OS was a gift given to us by Heaven itself and the Devine Trinity!

*please note, I'm not actually being seriouse about any of this but hey it sure is fun to type! Now I can see why people like this do this all the time!*
You wouldn't happen to BE a Mac user, would you?

WOW!!! I remember Amiga!! I had one too... back in the 80's sometime... there was a game called "They Came From the Desert" based on a B movie about giant ants... I have been looking for that...

Anyhow... on topic...

I was a PC user for many, many years.... until Fry's.... and I have become a Mac convert. Oh what a difference a Mac makes!! Am I a Satan worshipper? Not the last time I checked. I agree that Microsoft has a few problems in Bill Gates, and for a while I thought that was the only game in town - one must do Windows because that is all that is available (and all that rot). Bill Gates does not strike me as a moral and ethical leader, nor does he suffer overmuch from conscience. I don't applaud Steve Job's ego... but hey, he at least is innovative and puts out a Quality product.

I guess if we all settled for Windows quality in things like airplanes and cars (when your puter crashes frequently it is normal... I remember well!) there would be more folks discussing God.

(Phew... best segue I could come up with... I should be posting on Bill Gates anti trust case thread... but I did that already! )

I had one too! I loved Amigas! The graphics were far and away better than a PC of similar cost/power etc.

I then got an Atari to use for music sequencing (Cubase) and then got a PC.

Now I have a MAC!!!! heheheheheheheeeeee.

Now... on topic.

This kind of woeful.... actually I'm not going to bother. It's pathetic. It just makes me pissed off. It's guys like this that makes people think all Americans are nutcases.

*collapses from laughter* It's hard to believe this is real... other than what was already pointed out above *collapses from laughter again*, he apparently has decided to try to make computer programs be satanic because of its name without even knowing what they are (daemons... from dictionary.com: (From the mythological meaning, later rationalised as the acronym "Disk And Execution MONitor") A program that is not invoked explicitly, but lies dormant waiting for some condition(s) to occur. The idea is that the perpetrator of the condition need not be aware that a daemon is lurking (though often a program will commit an action only because it knows that it will implicitly invoke a daemon).)... Funny guy... ... Go paranoia!
