thieves guild help!!!!!!

after meeting the traiters & thier contact at the five flagons inn I went back to the thieves guild to report to alen the location of the vampire guild but he wont talk to me, Ive gone back and forth for three days now and no luck, has anybody else had the game lock up on them. Ive already beat the game once so I know whats suposed to happen, anybody got an idea??????? "When you find yourself in a hole....stop digging"

This hasen't happened to me - I assume that you killed the traitors (otherwise you should try).

My best advice is to back to a save before the encounter and try again.

My best advice is to download the official patch, and see if that fixes your problem.

Thanks for the welcome and reply, I tried the patch but because I've got TOB installed the patch wouldnt take, so I started a new game.

Did you pick up the letter the contact drops with the info on the vamps on and read it? That may help and try taking it back to the theifs to read it.

Yes I picked up the letter, actually my problem started during the knights quest when I was sent to protect the girl until her guardian came for her, the house got raided and I killed the assassins and waited and waited and waited but no guardian showed up, so I went back to the radiant heart to report that’s when it all started.

Did you go upstairs and talk to the girl after you have killed the assassins? As in... ask her how is she.

Yes, she told me to go back down stairs and see if any more assasins were around.

1) Have you downloaded and installed the ToB patch?

2) If you do have the ToB patch, do you have the Baldurdash ToB Fixpack v1.12?
