over here in australia there is currently a leagal battle between mcdonadls and a dictionary. Apparently the dictionary defined "McJob" as something like "low paying degrading job with no hope for sucess or promotion in the future" (or basically that jist). Pretty funny that annoyed them pretty badly, i guess if they treated their employees better that wouldn't have happened.
Also i don't know about other countries but is it just me but on the few ocassions i eat there the food is allways cold?

Beauty commercials that advertise "because you're worth it" ? That's pathetic. I hate commercials like that. Believe it or not they actually attack the viewers self-esteem, albeit in an indirect manner.

What I also find annoying about McDonald's is the new "Saldads Plus" menu. IIRC, Australia has the highest obesity rate in children next to the USA, of which fast-food restaurants are partly responsible for. Introducing a salad menu won't reduce this rate. Kids will still scoff down their Big Macs and Cheeseburgers; the only thing the salad menu will do is to increase McDonald's falling revenue.

BTW, I haven't been to McDonald's in over 4 years.

My favorite is Mc Donalds, but Burger King is not bad, either.

But I don't see the point of those new ads, either. If they really want to change their image they'll have to do more than new comercials.

Funny thing over here is. Apparently one of the main objectives of these commercials is to have exactly the same commercials all over the world
BUT
While here in Austria we get the English version (not of the whole thing but of the jingle "I'm lovin it") our German neighbours get "Ich liebe es".
Apart from the stupid thing that is advertisers wanting to bond with
sexy cool rockin' empowered witty young aged (spell: screwya )
What the hell does "I'm lovin' it" actually mean??? And why can't anybody today come up with a clever jingle?
