Help....This is pissing me off!!!!!!

I just killed the lich in the tiers of the dead. He is supposed to drop a key right? No F&@#ing Key!!! I had this problem with the Blacksmiths son as well. He was supposed to be a captive in the caverns, but he was not there. I ignored it, as it was not a major quest, and moved on. But now I cant do that. Is this a bug?? I am using ver 1.06 and I applied the patch before all this happened. Any help would be great.

The key is in the room before the hall of heroes, to the left of the door entering the hall of heroes, there should be 2 or three crypts, and one behind, that looks like you cannot access, pass your mouse over it and it will show up as blue, I beleive it may be boobie trapped, so disarm the trap first. If not, check every object along the hall of heroes, but I am pretty sure it's in one of those. If the lich keeps coming back, then I suggest hasting your party so you can visit as many crypsts as possible before he returns.

The Blacksmith's son is on the 2nd lvl of Dragon's Eye in a cave toward the center of the map guarded by a couple of wraith spiders, the reward in helping him is pretty substantial.
