Oh come on! A couple years ago, they thought that a comet was gonna hit Earth in 2026 or something like that. A couple months later it turned out that it was gonna miss Earth by 1 or 2 million miles! It will most probably turn out to be a misread. Or...if it isn't and the Earth is supposudly doomed, we'll probably have better technology by then! If not, we can always set it off course or attempt to destroy it with Nukes.
