OK I finally got m own internet connection yesterday, and I decided to switch to firefox.

And it's really annoying. I get the "server not found" page more often than I would like for pages that should work properly (they work okay after hitting refresh, but is still annoying). Sometimes after clicking on a link it takes forever to go there, and only does after clicking repeatedly several times. And most annoying of all suddenly all Firefox windows would just close. Really annyoing if your in the middle of writing a post or an email.

And I don't think it's my internet connection because IE is working okay.

I got a virus one day and couldn't access any of my scanners. The only one I could get to was an online one that of course required IE only. I had IE too but Firefox was set to my default and that's all the system would allow me to access. So I dumped Firefox and never looked back.

Download IE 7 beta. It is flawless IMHO. You won't have to transfer favourites or reset custom settings. You won't have to re-install when it is officially released. Tabbed browsing, themes, addons, auto-detection, spyware and virus blockers plus a kind of anti-virus 'protection mode' and of course all-round universal compatibility. Needless to say it's great.

I have been thinking about IE 7 beta, and how many IW'ers are using it. I want to think that its better to wait until the official release, unless there are many IW'ers using it with no trouble...
