hi
i play wizardry 7 and cant use my mapkit.what is wrong?need a pencil?or more intelligence? |

This question is probably more appropriate for the Wizardry 8 board here, since it has more to do with Wizardry 7 than does Wizards and Warriors. However, as a veteran of Wiz 7, I'll try to answer your question. You should be able to use your mapping kit in the game (the first one is found near where you begin, a bit south through the forest, in a chest). Click the "Use" icon on the screen, scroll through to the Journey Map Kit, and click it, and it should bring up the map. It may not be very detailed, though. As your mapping skill (Academic skill) gets better, so will your automap. Since Wiz 7 is a "square-step" game, it's probably fairly easy to map out on your own, so you would do well to get some graph paper, and yes, a pencil! Have fun! Also, do visit the Wizardry 8 board, especially if you have more questions. Hope to see you playing Wizardry 8, especially when it's released. Cheers, -Sazerac |
