I've tried killing Cet inside his tomb (in the lava area) with the Mavin Sword and the Staff of Death, but he deflects all of my attacks. I've already given Kerah the holy water, burnt the lich's heart, etc. Is there something I need to do before I can inflict damage on Cet? Thanks.

You have to touch the sword and staff into the black flame for them to be effective.

As sageridder said - the Black Fire is the key to making the two weapons effective against Cet. Anephas tells you about that when you have brought him back to life but unless you follow through all the conversational possibilities with Anephas, it is easy to miss this important bit of information. Hope we'll be hearing how you've defeated Cet next!! Wvy |
