Good one TL.

But I have one query re your "taking over" the jokes game from our Mr Arvon. My nasty suspicious mind just has all these alarm bells ringing for some strange reason . Just this nagging thought that by leading "from the front", you will now be able to steer the joke threads away well clear and away from all those highly amusing lawyer jokes.

How pleads the defendant?

(PS - take the 5th ).

Based upon the advice of counsel, I must assert my Fifth Amendment right and refuse to testify on the basis that I may incriminate myself.

Don't forget these magic words, folks.

I'm Not intentionally assuming the mantle, guys. When I notice funny things, I post them, that's all. Since I gave my notice at work yesterday, I have a bit more time to cruise online is all.

But, if you REALLY want to laugh, check out my Tucker Max thread.

I wasn't seriously suggesting that you were TL (assuming the mantle that is), but I saw the opportunity to say "Hey - nice jokes, but where have all the lawyer ones gone ".

"Gave your notice"?!?! TL, don't tell us you're quitting the lawyer trade!

Nope - moving to a different firm. I mentioned it in the cafe while sipping Scotch.
