Not really. They do have a promising young rookie name Tuomo Ruutu though. His older brother Jarko plays for the Canucks.

it's hard to keep up with the different time zones. even cable and net radio arent well placed for keeping up. and it's just not the same reading about it without seeing the games. best game on earth.

bleagh - the hawks had the 28th ranked power play last season! it's probably for the best i'm not watching!

And the second statement is also not true. You can't judge the league standings (which I guess you did) when the Bruins, Flyers aŽnd the Blues all have the chance to take the 1st place since they all have played 1-3(!) games less than the Canucks.

However I do agree that the Canucks are a contender for this years cup. Wouldn't it be nice with the Senators vs. Canucks in the final?
