Your Top 10 D&D GAMES

I got into RPGs quite a few years ago when my son was playing the Phantasy Star stuff. Since then I have played many games. MANY I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER!! My favorite may well be the MIGHT & MAGIC 2 (and, I have played 3, 4, 5, 6 with 7 and 8 still to go). BALDERS GATE was O.K. THUNDERSCAPE, ARENA, and LORD knows what others there have been that escape my memory at the moment! The DAGGERFALL game I feel was a bit weird - especially the mapping technique they used which confused THE HELL OUT OF ME. The hundreds of towns, villages, dungeons, etc. to fool around in (with travel to sometimes not as simple as it was supposed to be - like not really ending up at the entrance to a dungeon, but somewhere close by perhaps!!) I do not really care for some of these games which include in them the puzzles, riddles, etc. that require solving. I AM A FIGHTER IN RPG GAMES - NOT A LOVER!!! I COME TO KICK YOUR BUTT - NOT PICK YOUR BRAIN!!! ALBION has some of this material (puzzle solving) imbedded in it & I guess I do not totally approve of this approach in RPGs. As an old RPG player (well, really an old player period) I wonder why so many of these games consist of HEROs (both male and female) that may not even be out of high school!!!!!!!!! (I think, that in ALBION, that SIRA is a mere 16 or 17 years old.) Might we not be a little more realistic with out age groupings?? No, not sour grapes!! The characters do not have to be over 50!!! But, maybe over 20!!!!!!!!!!!
