Yay maths exam over! Two half hour exams, first one (none calculator) was pretty straight forward, second was ok but harder. A few questions on the calculator paper I just sat there confused, not a clue.
Overall I think I got the 14ish marks to get a B, which means pass

Hi everyone! Just got up 2 hours ago... at 12 noon. War of the Worlds was NOT worth staying up til 3AM to watch, unfortunately. Oh well... free pizza was pretty good.

Sir Goulum, I heard that it was good visually with the effects but extremely disappointing re the story?

Oh, the effects and the visuals were awesome. The story wasn't all that bad, it just left some things leaving you wondering what the heck?(all these little red 'veins' all over the place) and the ending was waay to sudden. And stupid, IMO.

Aah, that idiot Tom Cruise is in it. That's more than enough reason to avoid it.

His acting actually wasn't bad. But Dakota Fanning was much better. It was the story that killed the movie I think.

Sounds like video rental material to me LOL.
Want to start a new character in Sacred tonight, as older save/games characters may get quest bugs with the Underworld expansion, and it seems mine is one of em. So can't decide what to start afresh with, the Vampiress or the female Daemon (neither is evil btw). What would yall choose? [ 06-29-2005, 07:03 PM: Message edited by: ladyzekke ] |

Good news for you, LadyZ. The gaming magazine I read had a newsflash saying there's gonna be a Sacred 2 for sure!
And I would choose the female daemon. Vampires suck

OOOh, maybe by then I can afford Sacred! Sometimes the prices drop on the first game when a '2' comes out!
Go for the Daemon, LZ, it sounds cool, whatever it is!

That's excellent Link! Glad to know a second one is going to come out for sure. So now I have Dungeon Siege 2 and Sacred 2 to look forward to!
I tried the Vampiress first last night, she's not too bad, more like a fighter than anything else. I don't think she drinks anyone's blood, her special abilities seem to be life leeching and defensive moves, etc. I made a game for the Daemon too so I can check her out next. LOL, have to post a picture of her sometime, she's kinda hilarious to look at! Cloudy, I'm figuring soon that Underworld expansion will hit the U.S. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. The UK copy I ordered from GoGamer.com was about thirty bucks or so, and it comes with the original game including the first Plus expansion, so not too bad considering... You know, I saw IWD2 at CompUSA the other day priced STILL at $50.00! What's up with that LOL? |
