Here Gwhanos i found something for you

For Ego, the discussion forum is all about him and his issues, and he regards discussions that stray from those topics as trivial dalliances. Although tolerant of an occasional shift in focus, Ego grows increasingly restive from extended inattention and will often provoke conflict to reestablish himself as the subject at hand. Ego dismisses with only a cursory reading any forum traffic that doesn't relate directly to him, but replies at length to everything else. Ego is one the the fiercest of all the Warriors and will fight to the death when attacked.

NOTE: Gwhanos has not participated in the ultimate battle for supremecy, becaus eh has not yet battled me yet. a brief history of my battles should show you who the obvious winner is...

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.

You too could use a lesson from Father Bronze

FB, far be it for me to comment on your post. I know that this is your specialised subject.

But....... as you are giving us an example here shouldn't the 'i.e' in your sentence be 'e.g'

Awww NUTS! My cover is blown... We retreat today, brothers and sisters, but our quest to gramatically corrupt the innocent will continue on the morrow.

Yes, Donut you are indeed correct. After some brief research, "i.e." is short for "that is" which would further clarify my example. The correct form, "e.g" would be the abbreviation "for example." Are you up for membership in the Grammarian Brigade? It's kinda lonely here sometimes.

Perhaps I was corrupted by the evil of Gwhanos. Or maybe I'm just getting sloppy.

To those posting earlier . . .

BTW, I was not advocating American English at all. Unless I'm mistaken "whom" is a part of every English language. If Gwhanos were a truly omnipotent evil, he would corrupt all languages at once and we would all speak "Gwanosian."
