Question Mark

Evolution crawls towards imperfection.

If we have the capability to create foods that provide a larger yield or contain more nutrition value then by all means do so. Simple.

If someone decides not to eat food that has been genetically modified then that is their choice. Eventually, they'll probably change their minds and decide to join us in the 21st century. Personally, I don't mind it--pass the GMOs!

I know many worry about GMOs creating new strains of bacteria that are resistant to all currently-known pesticides, antibiotics, or whatever. However, they must assume that we are too stupid to find a way to correct or guard against our own mistakes. If we don't make mistakes that we can correct, how will we, as people, ever learn anything? (that is a discussion for another time)

If it was about freedom of choice why are the Monsanto *evil empire TM*
taking our choice away by bribing governments to ban statements like "contains no GMO" on food?

and why not answer the question posed earlier Azred?

Is Monsanto paying into a global "if we made a mistake use this money to help rectify" fund? Or will it be up to the taxpayers to find an answer?
