Well, it's okay to have an unexpected day off, but i hope my bro has his things together tomorrow (whatever it is), cause i was bored to death. I went outside on my terrace to read a book in the sun, and guess what, i fell asleep. I must have Spanish blood or something, because between 2 and 4 i always get a little sleepy !

What book are you reading? I wish I could have spent the afternoon in the hammock today. It was gorgeous here.

Monsoon, by Wilbur Smith. Ive read the trilogy of Taita the slave before this, it's about Egypt in the days of the Pharaohs. Monsoon is about the hunt on pirates in the 18th century. This writer has really gotten to me, i completely lose myself once i read his books.

Wilbur Smith is one of my favorite fiction authors. Have you read The River God, The Seventh Scroll or Birds of Prey? Or is that the trilogy you meant?

Actually now that I think of it, Birds of Prey is set on a ship that sails around Africa. The other two are stories based in Egypt.
