Stand inside your love - Smashing Pumpkins

you and me
meant to be
immutable
impossible
it's destiny
pure lunacy
incalculable
insufferable
but for the last time
you're everything that I want
and asked for
you're all that I'd dreamed
who wouldn't be the one you love
who wouldn't stand inside your love
protected and the lover of
a pure soul
and beautiful
you
don't understand
don't feel me now
I will breathe
for the both of us
travel the world
traverse the skies
your home is here
within my heart
and for the first time
I feel as though I am reborn
in my mind
recast as child and mystic sage
who wouldn't be the one you love
who wouldn't stand inside your love
for the first time
I'm telling you how much I need and bleed for
your every move and waking sound in my time
I'll wrap my wire around your heart
and your mind
you're mine forever now
who wouldn't be the one you love
and live for
who wouldn't stand inside your love
and die for
who wouldn't be the one you love

(well who wouldn't?)

And this one really shows my age... .

Wond'ring Aloud by Jethro Tull

Wond'ring aloud --
how we feel today.
Last night sipped the sunset --
my hands in her hair.
We are our own saviours
as we start both our hearts beating life
into each other.

Wond'ring aloud --
will the years treat us well.
As she floats in the kitchen,
I'm tasting the smell
of toast as the butter runs.
Then she comes, spilling crumbs on the bed
and I shake my head.
And it's only the giving
that makes you what you are.

Slightly off topic.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's always cool running into another Tea Party fan. I've actually seen them live twice, once in this tiny little club (it was really a very intimate setting). It was amazing - I highly recommend seeing them live if you ever have the chance.

Right, sorry for the OT guys/Larry but it isn't everyday that you meet a fellow Tea Party fan

Pleased to meet you, Erydian!
And I have actually seen the Tea Party live three times! All three concerts were in a club setting (I hear they play in big halls in Canada!): I've seen them twice in The Melkweg and once in Paradiso, both famous rock clubs in Amsterdam (The last time was only in December last year ).
They were easily among the best gigs I've ever seen! Jeff Martin's voice is amazing, all three musicians are wonderfully adept - it's really a pleasure watching them play!
Next time they come to Holland, I'm gonna be there!

"I'm on fire" by the "Boss"
"Someday Lady you'll accompany me" by Bob Seger
A soft slow southeren accent one dripping with honey, yet concealling "Hell fire & brimstone, yea, the very Wrath of God".
It can lift you and give the strength to storm the "Gates of Hell",or reduce the strongest Man to a quivering mass of jello, without ever having to be raised or the need for vulgarities. It's subtleties (sp?)lets you know you are the "Man in-charge" until the need arises for her to take over. I married a Southern Belle from "Mo-Beal, Ala-bama".

Right now the song that describes my life best is "This is how you remind me" by Nickelback..
It goes like this:

Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealin'
Tired of livin' like a blind man
I'm sick inside without a sense of feelin
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yet?, Yet?, Yet?, no no It's not like you didn't know that
I said I love you and I swear I still do
It must have been so bad
Cause living with me must have damn near killed you This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yet?, Yet?, Yet?, no noNever made is as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head

Oh and the accents, there's nothing as beatiful as a woman speaking italian...
With pouty lips, oooh..

My songs that I would have to pick are..

Linkin Park - In the End
POD - Youth of the Nation
POD - Alive

And the song that sums me up fairly well... Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff

As for accents, i cant answer that because i havent had the great experience of hearing more than about 5...oh wells

"You To Me Are Everything" (The Real Thing, 1976)

I would take the stars out of the sky for you,
stop the rain from falling if you asked me to.
I'd do anything for you, your wish is my command.
I could move a mountain when your hand is in my hand.

Words can not express how much you mean to me,
there must be some other way to make you see.
If it takes my heart and soul, you know I'll pay the price.
Ev'rything that I possess I'd gladly sacrifice.

You to me are everything,
the sweetest song that I could sing, oh baby, oh baby!
To you I guess I'm just a clown
who picks you up each time you're down, oh baby, oh baby!
You give me just a taste of love to build my hopes upon,
you know you've got the power, girl, to keep me holding on.
So now you've got the best of me,
come on and take the rest of me, oh baby!

Though you're close to me, we seem so far apart.
Maybe, given time, you'll have a change of heart.
If it takes forever, girl, then I'm prepared to wait.
The day you give your love to me won't be a day too late.

You to me are everything...

You to me are everything, the sweetest song
that I could sing, oh baby, oh baby! (repeated 3 times & fade out)

Well, there are many romantic tunes that I like, but I haven't found a song which fully conveys the feeling of love. Most of the tunes I love come from Audrey Hepburn's movies ... yeah, you know I'm nuts about her, Larry

The specific movies I have in mind are: How To Steal A Million, War and Peace, My Fair Lady overture, Robin and Marian. I bought the soundtrack for her films, and found these the most romantic

As for accents... it would have to be British, followed by Scottish and Irish.
