As apposed to where?

In my first game I thought you had to do him in to solve the quest and did so in the area where you first meet him. When I learned that you didn't need to off him, I restored my game!

He is annoying!

As to opposed to where, Wyv? As opposed to where you first meet him. I know you don't need to kill him to fulfill the quest but he is sooooo annoying I wanted to kill him at least once. )

lol!!

Well, that is where I did him in but I admit it took a long time to do so. We had to keep following him around while allowing our spell points to regenerate and fend off other monsters but eventually we offed him. ANd I did restore my game after finding out that I didn't need to. Guess I took that oath seriously!

No, it is not optimal to use spells to kill the Lep. I took a long time to do him. Well, I equip a member A with Mavin Sword + a second weapon, casted with Herolic Might and Haste. Another member B with a range weapon like arrow or stars.

When I saw the Lep, I ran NEAR him, and member B threw a star on him. Then immediately activated member A and ran to him. The Lep will than attacked you, maybe with the staff, or cast Vanish. If he attacked you with staff, be happy. Your member A will be near enough for close range combat. Clicked on the Lep (attack) like crazy and he will not get chance to cast Vanish. In this way you can hit him continuously for quite some times.

That's how my "heroes" got 'im, Cat's Meow. I read recently of another "poster of the boards" who somehow stuck close to the "Leper" and Ol' "Leppy" took 'im to his treasure!
