Having a short fuse means that you do get angry easily.

Very long, but also very dry, so it burns up pretty fast.

Mine can either be very very short or infinitely long depending on whether I'm in a positive or negative frame of mind and how tired I am.

The lenght of my fuse varies according to mood, and the mood after the fuse burns out depends on the lenght of the fuse, meaning if you keep ticking me I might crucify you after a while
Have a nice day!

I don't really get angry at all.

So very long fuse.

On the rare occassions I get cross it's more like an H-bomb than a keg of gunpowder

I used to simmer for a long time until I boiled. Now I have kids, and I've discovered a new law of physics.

You may have heard of the law of conservation of matter or energy. Basically, they state that there are constant and equal amounts of matter and energy available, and they simply convert back and forth when needed.

I believe there's a law of conservation of patience. Each person has a finite amount of patience, to be allocated among all the things in his or her life.

Therefore, I only have a certain amount of patience. And my kids are 4-1/2 and almost 7.

There ain't no patience left for anyone else. So don't get on my nerve. That's right, nerve. Only one. That's all that's left.

At least, that's what I think.
