A party?!? Well! Cool - need a reason to get a Guinness and relax!

How goes?

------------------

Defender for the Light -
Goodness knows there is a lot of Dark out there!! - Where are my matches?!?
The secret is knowing the rules so you can bend/break them selectively!!!
Aquisition master of the Finest of Humours - and the Killer Joke
Musketeer of Fast Fourward
Looking for lost brain - I left it only for a moment....and there it goes... rolling under the table!!
Noticing that the Light has gotten further down a Dark Tunnel than expected... Time to get the Lantern... Knowing sooner or later - I will get to the End of this Tunnel to the Open Air once again...

BTW, saw your message in the book forum.

I'm shocked you read Space Tyrant LOL
It was banned from my high school. Great read, though...
Banned!? I thought people in school could read ANYTHING judging by some of the stuff I've seen in school curriculums that I didn't allow MY children to read, lol! (Don't ask me for titles and authors - it was along time ago!)

As for ME reading Tyrant - well, I started reading the first 'cos it was Piers Anthony, and I liked the 'hero' from when he was a kid. Then I was hooked and had to read the rest - though they WERE a bit much in places, I admit! Some really nasty stuff.
Just read your post in AD&D books. Thanks for the correction, RudeDawg!
Now, where is that orange juice? All this running around forums has me gasping for something to drink!

I argued the case for the book with my school board (I was a trouble-maker, I guess, claiming Freedom of speech and literature.) In Texas, though, the mention of incest is considered less than appropriate for high-school. That one (implied) mention was enough to get the whole series banned while i was there. We were also relieved of the D&D club I was in, the same year.

I countered by buying the series myself in paperback and loaning it to my other geek friends. We also played D&D in our chess club. We got in trouble for his Pornucopia though....
