I advanced my wizard to the role of warlock...now how do I get him to identify things?

Your Warlock must now learn the Artifact Skill.
You can train in artifact skill at either the Priest or Mage guilds at guild level 3 and higher. The higher your Artifacts skill, the more (and better) items you can ID. |

No he doesn't. He is a warlock who gains the trait for free.

The point was that you have to have both to be able to identify items.
