Okay, so my friend/roomate found something on the internet, and being the Americans we are, we don't even know what language it's in. Can any of you help a brother out?

it reads:

"een lawine pijl met
2 purschuimbussen en
2 haarspuitbussen"

thanks in advance from my roomate.

I claim this bit of text in the name of the Netherlands.

It reads:
"An avalanche flare with
2 PUR foam spraycans and
2 hairspray cans"

Yeah, Nick was looking at something on www.big-boys.com ...and apparently it did indeed involve blowing things up.

Don't you love how that's readily available on the internet?

More importantly, after watching the video, why are teenage boys from the Netherlands unsupervised?

Because we don't like supervision. We kill our parents if they bother us too much.

It all makes sense now. This video was prime instruction material, though...it taught valuable lessons like running for your life when you light the fuse, or making sure to do it in a big, open area, like a soccer field.

if you're interested, the video is here:

Ah...Gouda...those are probably Feyenoord youngsters, sometimes they use homemade explosives for footballmatches, they never learn.

Pretty weak piece though, not compact enough. If you're looking for a real big bang, use a CO2 cylinder from a beerkeg. When prepared properly, it's strong enough to blow up a small building.

ICK...you're right, of course. It won't make the fireball, though, and that's what all the kids want. A big fireball.

My roomate, by the way, is a studying mining engineer, who's likely to be working with various explosives in his professional career. He can go on about it for hours.

Notice that they had done it at least once before? There was a bare, burnt spot to the left of the rig they set up in the video.
