In Chateau Irenicus, my party would rest for like four days! Now, having just come from an inn, they rested for 3 days! What the hell is this? I don't rememer this happening before.

You probably have the "Rest Until Healed" Option checked. Uncheck it in the Gameplay section.

The rest until healed option simply allows your characters to use their healing spells before and after resting until fully healed. Therefore, if you were soloing a fighter or were in a dead magic zone in WK, you would rest longer. I remember resting in dead magic zones several times after fighting some demons, and i would rest for 30 and 40 days at a time.
