I already posted this on a thread with a similar topic, but apparently it is a dead thread because it has no responses yet.

I tried to make a multiplayer game and have a problem. When I click on "Multiplayer" then "Connect" a message box flashes on the screen really fast and I can't read it. Then I click "Protocol" and a list comes up. All of the options are gray and no amount of clicking changes this. I can't select a protocol, hence can't make a game.

Nothing is wrong with my computer/settings as I have double checked with other multiplayer games such as Starcraft.

Did you go to game configuration, set cache size to 300 mb?this could be your problem, as it happened to me.

It is at 300MB, and everything is set for maximum performance. My PC easily meets all requirements and I have a full install. 80% resources free with game and 3 instances of browser running right now.

Win98SE
Processor: P4 1.4GHZ
RAM: 256MB
GE ForceIII
Soundblaster live
40GB HD
300MB Cache in configs.(can I go more? Should I?)

Can someone whose game is working properly please copy and paste the contents of their baldur.ini file to a post in this thread? I think I know what the problem is, but without an example of a WORKING file I can't fix it. I think my install/setup program is bugged and didn't finish the .ini properly. There's no multiplayer section!
